Energy Advisor - Careers

Job description:

We are looking for a talented, hard working individual to advise homeowners on how to save energy and reduce their carbon footprint.

Field specialists are our primary contact point for customers and conducting home evaluations. The perfect candidate will be an active individual who is ready and capable to perform field work full time. The ability to multi-task and think on one's feet is essential. While most of the day will be spent on the road, good organization and file management is essential for the desk work required.

Candidates must be energetic, good communicators, and willing to work hard in their pursuit of an exciting new career path.

On the job training and testing equipment will be provided by the company.  During a probationary period the successful applicant must pass online exams and be mentored on a daily basis by an experienced professional.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with a good foundation in the STEM fields, applicants with NRCan certification or who are already enrolled in existing training programs.

Even if your journey to an energy advisor certification has not yet begun we would also love to hear from individuals with the following backgrounds:

• Engineering (BA / M.Eng)

  • Recent graduates are welcome to apply​

• Certification course in building science based courses and programs

  • Recent graduates are welcome to apply​​

• Home Inspections (ASTT / CAHPI / CanNACHI)

• Trades (new construction and existing home renovations)

Drivers license required.  Being physically fit is mandatory.  You must be available to work full time. Your home office needs to be centrally located in the Lower Mainland.
